Alief ISD has 21 Recognized and 7 Exemplary Campuses
The district’s achievement gains have outpaced the state average in all content areas.

Early College High School
A partnership with HCC which allows students to take high school and college course work concurrently and tuition-free at our new college campus.

Night High School
Opened to meet scheduling and instructional needs of students who have dropped out or are at risk of dropping out of school.

Data-Driven Decision Making
Student assessment data accessible to teachers and campus leaders for determining appropriate interventions and instructional strategies for the campus and each individual student.

Distance Learning
Students are provided the opportunity to take courses through the Texas Virtual School Network.

On-line Curriculum; Pacing Guides
Easily assessable teaching framework which insures district-wide consistency of curriculum scope and sequence.

Middle School Academies
Specialized programs such as engineering and performing arts which are offered as elective options to middle school students.

Increased Enrollment in Pre-AP/AP Programs
All students encouraged to take rigorous class work as they prepare for post-secondary challenges.

Program provides rigorous class work, college readiness skills, and mentoring as teachers work with students in preparing and encouraging them to attend college.

Student Safety

Safety Assessment
The assessment and audit was conducted by an outside agency to evaluate safety issues such as intruder access and emergency plans, and then make recommendations for improvement.

Additional personnel: hall monitors, police officers
Secondary campuses have additional security personnel to insure that all students attend safe schools that are conducive to learning.

Raptor Security System
Electronic system accesses a nationwide database and prevents child predators from entering any Alief campus.

Additional cameras on buses and in the schools
Thousands of cameras through a CCTV system are constantly monitoring to insure student and staff safety.
